Stuck in the rat race

The way that we live today is entirely different to that of a few years ago; no longer can we reply on job security or in some cases in the security of knowing that our future is safe from hardship. But there are things that can be done that will ensure that life can be better and that is to escape from the rut of having to keep up with the Jones.

There are three simple ways of doing this and they need not interfere with your current lifestyle.

Unclutter Your Life – Many homes have an excess of items that are not needed, you can clear you home of unwanted clutter and sells these items online or at boot sales, the money raised can go towards something that is needed or to pay off a credit card.

Mind Your Utilities – These bills can soon add up, but there are offers out there where these can be bundled or reduced.

Buy Used, Not New – This especially applies to cars, a new car no matter how nice it is can lose anything up to 25% of its value very fast, so you could buy the same car but a year older for a greatly reduced price.

Getting started is the problem, but once your mind is set then there will be no stopping you!
