Who are the cyber criminals?

Although the people behind cyber crime are basically faceless this sort of crime is one sector within the organised crime industry that is continuing to grow, in fact there has been a rise of around forty per cent a year into a £51 billion industry.

This growth underlines the fact that it is not just a single person having a laugh, this is a serious business, being organised by very serious criminals.

Surprisingly the top location for these cyber criminals is Brazil, this is where they start off young and the crimes are small, but as their skills improve, so do the profits to be made.

But the problem is that there is no unified way of attacking back, banks are not going to say how much they lose each year from this sort of crime and governments are powerless to do anything to hackers located in certain countries.
