Are there any currencies stronger than the Euro?

It would have to be something special if there was a currencies which performs better than the Euro at the moment, but there is and it comes from a very unexpected area.

The currency in Israel, the Shekel has been performing very well over the months and years, but in particular since the beginning of 2008, the Shekel has gained fifteen per cent on the US Dollar, and even more against the Pound and the Canadian Dollar.

However this is no fluke the Shekel has remained solid against most other currencies and it is set to continue which is testament to the country’s economy.

But with elections to be held later on in the year it is expected that depending on the result the growth may stop then.
