Chancellor says “Times of tough”

The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Alistair Darling has been quoted as saying “Times are tough” thank goodness for that, we must be all sleeping better now! But in all seriousness he has insisted that the UK will be able to survive the current credit crunch.

However since mentioning that we will all come out of this fine, there was no mention of the fourteen per cent pay rise or indeed the forty per cent rise in electricity and gas prices.

We find ourselves at a very fragile situation, this is where it can really go one way of the other if things really go wrong then we are all in a tricky situation. Hopefully there will be some sort of light at the end of the tunnel.
