The problem with wills

According to research done by the charity Age Concern and some financial services experts, there are around the two thirds of adults in the UK who have not got a will. Ordinarily this would not seem to be that serious, and in the past it really wasn’t. But today there are so many homeowners and people with investments etc, that to not have a will, could result in their beneficiaries having to fight for what is rightfully theirs.

Age Concern also found that of those people that have a will, they just make the one and leave it at that. Whereas the charity suggests that a new will should be drawn up every five years, this is because individual circumstances change over time and these need to be taken into consideration.

Wills these days are not just for the wealthy they are needed by everyone. That is unless you want the government to have all of your assets!
