Disney takes on Premier League

The financial might of the Disney Corporation is coming to the Premier League, by taking over Derby County, the struggling team that without any help may possibly be relegated or so the story goes!

Why an American corporation like Disney who have revenues of $34.3 billion dollars would want to invest in a minor club like Derby is not known, but the premier league is the largest and most profitable football league in the world, so it maybe has something to do with getting the Disney name in front of millions of football fans.

It seems that football in the UK is in danger of becoming dominated by large corporations who will use these clubs as advertising machines for their products and services.
